July 28, 2013. An Open Letter from the Intractable Studies Institute to Detroit Mayor Dave Bing.

To Mayor Dave Bing,

This is an Open Letter from the Intractable Studies Institute
to Detroit. I am the Director of the Intractable Studies Institute
in Peralta, New Mexico. Solving intractably hard challenges
is what my Institute does. The Detroit bankruptcy problem sounds
like a big problem, but it's not intractably hard. I'll outline
a solution below. This is not the only solution, but merely
a solution. There are many solutions for Detroit, but not all
of them return your city to greatness, this solution below does.

1. The new android robot economy is about to begin and this is
   a major manufacturing effort.
2. The Detroit and Michigan region has the manufacturing skill set
   and experience.
3. Detroit can be reborn as Detroit Robot City and lead the
   android robot boom, s/Motown/Rotown/.
4. All the pensions, Social Security, and retirement issues are
addressed and solved in Utopia Androidia.

This solution will not be a specific Communication of the
Institute because it was not intractably hard to solve. If you have
any questions, let me know. Feel free to share this and forward it
on, the powers that be in your state should be made aware the
solution is right in front of them.

I hope this helps the fine people of Detroit and Michigan!

Sincerely,

-->Patrick M. Rael
